Angel leaves Sunnydale behind to discover there's more to the Los Angeles nightlife then Hollywood movie stars. Together with Doyle and Cordelia, "Angel Investigations" begins helping the helpless - soon to be joined by Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. Wolfram & Hart establishe its foothold against the forces of good with the return of Darla as Angel factions divide. Gunn adds his street-wise skills to the team and Lorne's home world of Pylea offers a new member to A.I. in Fred. While Cordelia fights against her own demons, Darla has a surprise that will change Angel's unlife. With the birth of Connor, the betrayal of Wesley is revealed; the ascension of Cordelia and the pending death of Angel follow. From the murky depths Wesley saves Angel and Cordelia returns only to be a vehicle of an even greater evil than The Beast. Faith battles Angelus but evil has many faces as Jasmine rises from apocyliptic ashes and Connor's fate is sealed. Fighting within the belly of the beast, Angel accepts Wolfram & Hart's offer to claim their new L.A. branch. Joined by Spike, Harmony, and the reemergence of Lindsey, the final battle is fought and the victor may or may not be Angel.
