ANGEL on the Newsstands

Visual Imagination brings you not one, but two great issues!

Mark Wyman, Site Editor for visimag.com was kind enough to share the following inside glimpse into two great new features in the latest issues of Xposé and Starburst, brought to you by Visual Imagination Ltd. Read on for the whole scoop!

Exclusive Alexis Interview!

Not only is this month Alexis Denisof's b-day but fans can get an extra special treat from an interview feature in the already available March 2002 issue of Xposé magazine. Alexis gives us an in-depth look at his character and the changes from Uptight British Watcher to Rogue Demon Hunter to what is now a strong full-rounded character that gives him a special spot in the third season of Angel.

Also in this issue: The Sunnydale Agony Column. "This is a collection of completely spurious letters from 'Gallant' of Galway, 'Cautious Carpenter' of California, 'Legal' at Lonely Hearts Hotel and others (some from BtVS) with replies from The Host. It's a bit of character-based fun," says Mark.

Meanwhile, as I'm sure peeps will rush to buy the issue, click here for a small tasty preview which features excerpts from Alexis' interview, available online exclusively from Visual Imagination.

More ANGEL Goodies!

And in the new issue of Starburst offers an Angel treat for all the fans out there!

"It's an eight-page overview including the writer's 5 all-time episodes to watch (including Carpe Noctem) and 5 to Avoid (including Billy). I should perhaps stress I did not make these selections [I ranked Billy 9/10 in my reviews for TV Zone, but that's by the by...] :-)"

It's Ok, Mark - we won't hold it against you!

"I think that the Starburst piece is a fine-looking feature, which we've illustrated with 'classic Hollywood'-style monochrome treatments of some familiar cast shots. The feature is one of a number in recent months in which Starburst has taken a fresh look at the best genre series around."

Mouth watering yet? Below are the background images for the four double-page spreads in Starburst #283, over which Jim Smith's series overview was laid. Click her for a complete list of this issue's contents.
